Featured Initiative: Tribal Education Campus
Today, we stand at an important moment. As Indigenous languages, teachings, and traditional ways of learning face the impacts of generations of disruption, the need to reclaim and restore these connections has never been greater. In response, Tlingit & Haida is advancing a bold vision for the future, the Tribal Education Campus.
Situated on 12 acres within our ancestral homelands, the Tribal Education Campus will serve tribal tribal citizens while welcoming the broader community into a living place of learning, culture, language, and belonging.
The Education campus is more than a school; this is an investment in healing, sovereignty, and future generations. A place where elders and youth learn together. Where culture is lived every day and where future generations can thrive connected to who they are.
“Every word spoken, every story retold, and every song remembered is an act of reclamation and community healing.”
Mission We strengthen tribal communities through resources that advance education, wellness, and self-determination.
