Native Nonprofit Day is an innovative opportunity for donors and foundations to learn about our amazing Native-led nonprofits and contribute to our groundbreaking work.

The Impact
What is Native Nonprofit Day?
Native Nonprofit Day is a giving initiative aimed at increasing support for Native-led organizations nationwide. Organizations, foundations, and individuals are invited to dedicate May to raising awareness of the importance of supporting Native-led nonprofits, culminating in Native Nonprofit Day!
Who am I Supporting?
Nonprofits listed on GiveNative.org include tax exempt 501(c)3s, 7871 tribal nonprofits, and fiscally sponsored organizations that are:
- Native-led: 51% of their Board and staff leadership identify as Native.
- Native-serving: They have a specific purpose to support Native nations, people, and communities.
Native Ways Federation is does not accept or distribute donations intended for organizations featured on the Native Nonprofit List.
How Can I Spread the Word?
We invite all Native-led nonprofits, foundations, individuals, and other allies to join us in uplifting Native-led nonprofits in any way you can! For example:
- Share the link to GiveNative.org
- Share the link to your favorite Native-led nonprofit's profile
- Use #NativeNonprofitDay, #GiveNative, and #SupportNativeLed to call for support and donations to Native-led nonprofits
- Share social media posts by your favorite Native-led nonprofit
