Education & Employment for Lifelong Success
American Indian OIC is a workforce and education agency that helps people attain the knowledge and skills they need to enter, reenter, and advance in the workforce. On our campus, students can:
- Graduate high school at Takoda Prep, an alternative learning center that provides secondary education in a culturally rich environment
- Attain a GED or the foundational education needed to enroll in college or post-secondary learning
- Complete job training programs that result in careers with opportunities for lifelong professional advancement and wage growth
- Receive support from a certified job counselor who provides individualized assistance with achieving career goals
All of AIOIC's programming is designed to provide culturally affirming support and care to the individuals and communities we serve. And our results speak for themselves. Students enrolled in Takoda Prep High School are 40% more likely to graduate and 20% more likely to enroll in post-secondary education than their peers in mainstream schools. Students in AIOIC's job training programs earn 66% more after graduation. Simply put, our work leads to better and brighter futures and we hope you can play a part.
Please consider American Indian OIC for your charitable giving. It's an investment in people and their futures.
