Cook Native American Ministries Foundation equips Native leaders to better serve their churches and communities.

Cook Native American Ministries Foundation (CNAMF) is the result of a legacy rooted in the 1870's by Reverend Charles H. Cook, who lived and worked amongst the Akimel O'odham in Sacaton, Gila River Indian Community. He gained respect for his many years of service to Native people and is most recognized for establishing the Cook College and Theological School in Tempe, AZ.

Today, Cook Native American Ministries Foundation is a flourishing 501(c)3 non-profit public charity that provides grants to small and emerging community-based organizations, churches, tribal communities, and Native urban centers across the country.

CNAMF is dedicated to developing and implementing long lasting programs and services that positively impact and advance our most precious commodity - grassroots Native communities who deserve to live in a healthy, sustaining, positive, and productive environment.

Testimonials

"Without the help from the grant, we received from CNAMF we would not have been able to stay open and help the hundreds of families that were coming and continue to come to us for relief. We are grateful for all those who made it possible for us to receive the grant and the much-needed help during a time when so many families were and continue to struggle."

"We do not have a word for 'thank-you' in our language. We would say kw'aƂanushamatash - we are happy. And this is how we strongly feel about the blessing that CNAMF has been to our students here at Mending Wings in the Yakama Nation".
