Four Mothers Collective is an Indigenous women-led arts nonprofit based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We created Four Mothers Collective to build the kind of creative space we wanted and needed ourselves, one rooted in community, storytelling, representation, and care.

Through workshops, exhibitions, artist talks, youth programs, and community events, we support Indigenous and BIPOC artists while creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect through art. Our programming brings together emerging and established artists and centers intergenerational learning, cultural knowledge, and creativity as a form of healing and empowerment.

We believe art should be accessible, welcoming, and community-centered. That’s why we offer free and low-cost programming whenever possible and work to remove barriers that often keep people from participating in the arts.

Our community studio on Route 66 in Tulsa has become a gathering space for artists, families, organizers, and community members to learn, create, and share with one another. Whether someone is attending their first workshop, exhibiting their work for the first time, or simply looking for a place to feel connected, we want them to feel seen and supported here.

At the heart of our work is a commitment to uplifting Indigenous voices, supporting artists in meaningful ways, and helping create a future where our stories, cultures, and communities continue to thrive.
