Our Mission
Mother Nation provides culturally grounded advocacy, mentorship, healing, and support that uplift the well-being and success of Native American women and families.

• Domestic Violence Advocacy : Mother Nation's, Yeha:wi services are culturally designed to heal violence against women and children. Yeha:wi Services:  Mobile Advocacy ,Case Management, Relocation support, Emergency Homeless Support, Safety planning, Emergency transportation , Cultural healing support in prayer, brushing off house blessing. Other supportive services based on needs.
•  MMIWP Family Support Advocacy( Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Men, and Two-Spirit families): How we can support ,Funeral Cost support, Case Management, Searches (depending on staffing needs),Flyers for MMIWP, Cultural healing support in prayer, brushing off and house blessing Other supportive services based on needs
• Waátunwan Street Outreach:  Homeless Response Team street outreach began its work from Winter of 2022 with Tribal Homeless programs to identify unsheltered relatives ineligible for services in King County. We connect relatives with our Culture Response team in need of spiritual support and healing. Case management is available to those seeking housing stability and/or re-housing.
  In effort to prevent homelessness, we are able to assist our Relations with the following Homeless Prevention Services, Rental Assistance, Emergency Homeless Support, Case Management.
•  Cultural Response Team: The Cultural Service Team is compromised of our Elders and Staff members that hold years of experience in addressing intergenerational trauma. The services include, but not limited to; sweats, groups, brushing off, blessings related to trauma, talking circles and trainings associated with Cultural Development. Our community are able to request cultural healing support in prayer, brushing off and house blessing 
• Weekly Healing Circle's &  Support  Groups: As a part of our commitment to our relatives Mother Nation host weekly circles  and support groups that are facilitated by elders and trained facilitators. These gatherings provide a safe space for individuals to address and heal from the impacts of multi-abuse traumas. ( Yeha:wi healing Journey ,Healing Her Sacred Heart, Women's Healing Circle, Men's Healing Circle, Sweatlodge)
• Community Gathering and Events: Mother Nation is deeply dedicated to our community, demonstrated through our commitment to hosting free community workshops and gatherings. These events provide invaluable opportunities to share traditional teachings and healing practices with our community members. Through the generosity of donations and contributions, Mother Nation ensures that these events remain entirely free, allowing accessibility to all who seek healing and connection within our community.
• Spirit Journey House: Mother Nation's Spirit Journey House is a transitional home for Native women who are experiencing the impacts of generational trauma and often find themselves homelessness and vulnerable with chemical dependency. Spirit Journey house is a two year housing that provides a culturally supportive space for  Native women to reclaim their spirit and cultural Identity that many have hidden to survive . Mother Nations mentee’s choose to work a recovery program from substance abuse and complex trauma, we are able to provide wrap around and custom-designed cultural services with over 22 workshops, weekly Talking Circles with a sweat onsite.
