Stronghearts Native Helpline Inc

A nonprofit organization

TRUST. SPEAK. HEAL.

At StrongHearts Native Helpline, culturally appropriate support and advocacy for American Indian and Alaska Natives simply means that our relatives can reach out to an advocate who has a greater understanding of domestic and sexual violence as it relates to the lived experience and shared identity as Indigenous people.

StrongHearts Native Helpline exists to change that.

We are a Native-led, 24/7 confidential and ANONYMOUS helpline created by and for Native people. Our advocates offer judgment-free support, rooted in cultural understanding and respect for tribal sovereignty and lifeways. We are proud to serve survivors across the country — from cities to reservations to remote towns — wherever our relatives need us.

Through our free and confidential services — available by phone, chat, or text — StrongHearts offers:

  • Peer support from trained Native advocates

  • Crisis intervention and emotional support

  • Culturally relevant safety planning

  • Education about healthy relationships and violence

  • Referrals to Native-centered service providers

We ask you to give during Native Nonprofit Giving Day to uplift the only national helpline dedicated solely to Native survivors of violence. Your gift honors the lives of those we’ve lost — and helps protect those still in harm’s way.

Monthly giving is one of the most impactful ways to support our work. A recurring donation provides consistent, dependable support — so we can answer every call/text/chat, train more advocates, and expand access to care in the communities that need it most. Even $10 a month can sustain hope and healing for our relatives.

Your support fuels culturally rooted, life-affirming care — and helps create a future where every Native person is safe, seen, and supported.
