Texas Tribal Buffalo Project

A nonprofit organization

Indigenous-Led. Matriarchal. Sovereign.

The Texas Tribal Buffalo Project is the first Native woman–led nonprofit and ranch in Texas dedicated to Buffalo rematriation, and the only bison ranch in the state that sells high-quality meat, accepts EBT, and ships nationwide. Through regenerative grazing, Indigenous agricultural education, and food access, we restore prairie ecosystems, rebuild kinship with Buffalo, and ensure the health, well-being, and cultural resilience of Texas Indigenous Lineal Descendants.
