Turtle Island Community Capital (TICC) is a Native-led Community Development Financial Institution serving tribal nations and Indigenous entrepreneurs across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. We provide patient, flexible capital and culturally grounded technical assistance designed around the realities of Indigenous entrepreneurship, not the conditions of conventional markets.

The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic is home to 92 tribal nations, and yet no Native CDFI existed to serve them before TICC. This is the region of first contact, with Native names on nearly every street corner, and yet the capital systems here were built to exclude the very communities whose land and knowledge shaped this place.

Our work is grounded in the understanding that economic sovereignty and cultural sovereignty are inseparable. A nation's ability to sustain its teachings, ceremonies, foodways, and land-based practices depends on its ability to make sovereign economic decisions. When you give to TICC, you are supporting the first Native CDFI operating at regional scale in this geography, and the 92 tribal nations it was built to serve.
