Born out of the historic Indigenous-led #NoDAPL resistance at Standing Rock, Water Protector Legal Collective (WPLC) served as the on-the-ground legal team providing representation for Water Protectors seeking to protect the water and honor the treaties. Today, WPLC continues this work across frontlines serving as a legal holding line for Indigenous Peoples and the Earth, as one of the few Indigenous-led nonprofit law firms and advocacy organizations operating nationwide and internationally.
