Native Public Media’s (NPM) mission is to promote the self-determination of Indigenous peoples through media access, storytelling, and ownership. NPM is a national center dedicated to advocating and providing support services to Indigenous radio and television broadcast stations. These nationwide broadcast facilities include commercial, noncommercial educational, full-power, low-power, FM, AM, analog, and digital stations.

Radio and Television stations serve as a communication lifeline for rural and Indigenous communities throughout the United States of America. These stations provide vital and potentially lifesaving information for listeners to make informed decisions. Stations share this information through delivering critically important health information, hyperlocal news, storytelling, and emergency communications for predominately rural and remote Tribal lands. Over 60 Indigenous radio and three television stations benefit from NPM's programs in regulatory compliance, self-governance, technical assistance, training, policymaking, and operations development.

Our Voices. Our Stories. Our Network.
