Welcome to our community fundraiser for
Albuquerque Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration at Tiguex Park 2026!
The Native Leadership Collective of ABQ (NLC)—a coalition of 41 Native-serving nonprofits and Indigenous-owned businesses—invites you to be a part of one of the region’s most vibrant cultural gatherings on Monday, October 12, 2026.
This free, family-friendly event brings together hundreds of community members, families, and visitors to recognize the resilience, heritage, and enduring contributions of Indigenous Peoples. Tiguex Park will come alive with music, traditional dancing, a Native arts & crafts market, food trucks, youth activities, health and wellness programming, and essential community resources.
Why Your Support Matters
While this event is completely free for the public to attend, bringing a community gathering of this scale to life requires collective support. Albuquerque is home to a rich and diverse urban Native community—representing over 400 distinct tribal nations—and last year’s celebration welcomed 600 attendees. This year, we are preparing to welcome over 900 people.
Your donation directly supports:
- Accessibility for All: Keeping the celebration 100% free and accessible to every family, student, and neighbor in our city.
- Supporting Native Artists & Businesses: Providing a platform for local Native artisans, performers, and food vendors to showcase and share their crafts.
- Community Health & Visibility: Bringing crucial health, wellness, and educational resources directly to the urban Native community.
Whether you give $5 or $500, every dollar directly funds a space where our community can gather, connect, and celebrate together. Stand with us in recognizing Indigenous culture and uplifting urban Native voices in Albuquerque—donate today and share this campaign with your network!
