All My Relations Arts (AMRA) is one of the few Midwest hubs for contemporary Native art and an integral place for advancing the careers of Native artists and arts professionals through mentorships, residencies, and creative place making opportunities. AMRA’s mission is to honor and strengthen relationships between contemporary Native artists and the influence of previous generations, artists and audiences of all cultural backgrounds, and art and the vitality of the American Indian Cultural Corridor. Our gallery space and programming are committed to bringing representation and connection to the community while illuminating the talent and contributions of Native artists. AMRA fosters a sense of belonging for artists and community members.
Within the Twin Cities, the arts are a major economic driver and part of the region's identity. However, Native arts are underrepresented, undervalued and often excluded.
All My Relations Arts fills a critical need in the Twin Cities by:
- Providing a high-quality exhibition space that uplifts Native arts
- Increasing access to resources and opportunities that support Native artists
- Building understanding of the richness of Native arts and cultures
- Offering community-based art workshops to strengthen cross-cultural connections
Since 2011, the All My Relations Gallery has showcased countless solo and group exhibitions featuring works by Native artists from across Turtle Island.
