Archery Equipment

Archery is one of LNI's fastest growing events with over 250 students from across South Dakota partaking. The event is open to all students in K-12, with male and female divisions, and traditional and genesis shooting styles. LNI archery opened the door for many schools to start an archery program, with some programs now qualifying for national events.

Currently Lakota Nation Invitational borrows equipment from SD Game Fish and Parks, which requires someone to travel five hours to pick up and bring the equipment to the event. South Dakota weather in December can be harsh, making equipment pickup difficult. That, coupled with the current uncertainly around funding and access, it is time for LNI to invest in their own equipment and targets. LNI uses equipment in compliance with NASP and needs a minimum of twelve targets, stands, and nets. 

Contributions will help grow our event and allow students to further develop their skills and help reach their personal goals.
