Food Security for Little Earth

Help support Little Earth's wildly successful Urban Farm Program over the coming year!

Thank you for supporting us in our vision of empowering our residents by creating a culturally strong, supportive, healthy, and unified Little Earth community.

Our work disrupts the cycle of intergenerational trauma and colonization and moves our community towards Native sovereignty. Our programs pave the way to empower our residents to become leaders.

We offer holistic, culturally relevant programming in the following focus areas: Education, Workforce Development, Health & Wellness, Safety, and Life Skills. We are the only onsite services provider to our community and provide resource sharing, case management services, and holistic support. Our programs are offered through our Counseling, Youth Empowerment, Adult & Family Empowerment, and Housing Advocacy departments. 

This year, on Give to the Max Day we are setting a goal of $3,000,000 to support our work. Three programs we are highlighting are:

Women's Empowerment Group
Each week, our residents gather to learn about local social services providers and share their experiences. This group is foundational to providing our residents with the tools and support they need to thrive. 

Youth Workforce Development
This paid internship program provides our youth ages 13-21 with career-readiness skills such as resume-building, interviewing, and job shadowing. Our staff work diligently to connect our youth with Native professional mentors and provide post-secondary education opportunities. 

Cultural Teachings Program 
Culture is healing. It is in everything we do and we view it as a path forward toward community empowerment. We provide cultural teachings, traditional arts, ceremonies, and field trips to sacred sites for our youth.
