ANMA’s long-term vision requires investing in a permanent, sovereignty-centered campus from the outset. Rather than short-term leasing, ANMA will prioritize acquisition and development of a dedicated facility on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. We need a physical space for our school.

Major Cost Categories

1. Facility Acquisition & Development:

Up to $7,500,000

Includes:

  • Land acquisition
  • Purchase or construction of school facility
  • Renovation and culturally aligned architectural design
  • Classroom buildout (K–3 initial launch capacity)
  • Outdoor learning environments
  • Cultural/ceremony space
  • Security and safety infrastructure
  • Site preparation, utilities, and ADA compliance

This investment establishes a permanent Montessori and cultural education campus designed to expand to full K–8 capacity.  Long-term planning involved expanding to an on-line campus for high school and beyond, grounding students in the indigenous knowledge needed to carry them through life as productive citizens of our tribal nations.
