White Rider Healing Ranch honors the life and legacy of Wyatt Mad Plume, a young man whose love for horses reflected the deep connection between Blackfeet people and these sacred relatives. The Ranch combines the healing power of horses with Blackfeet cultural traditions to support youth, families, Veterans, and people in recovery.
We provide equine-assisted psychotherapy, horsemanship, and wellness programs, and through your support, we aim to expand our facilities and programs to offer fee-free services to our community.
Funds raised will help:
Care for our horses, ensuring their health and wellbeing.
Develop indoor and year-round spaces for therapy, horsemanship, and training.
Expand access to trauma-informed, culturally grounded programs for youth, adults, and people in recovery.
Support the Holding Hope Search and Rescue Team, the first Indigenous mounted SAR team trained in air-scent detection.
